Tucked away in the Maryland section of the DC area, there is a nice little place to eat called The Pomegranate Bistro. I had the chance a while ago to try out their lunch service. I think that the best way to describe the place is enjoyable environment, good food mediocre service.
I ordered the lunch special hamburger and it was presented very nicely, as you can see in the above picture. Not only was it presented nicely, but it tasted good too. Like I mentioned before, the service wasn’t so good. It took a while for me to get my food and the wait staff blamed it on the chef not being in and another chef being in charge.
I would like to go back and give a try to their dinner service and see how things go at that time.
I would also like to mention that they have a take out area as well, which I presume you can order things for Shabbos in addition to just getting things for a quick dinner.
If you are in the area, you should give The Pomegranate Bistro a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
